WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR OCEANS?

THE DANGERS OF RED TIDE

  1. RED TIDE is algae blooms caused by polluted outflows from inland sources such as fertilizer, that is either washed or diverted into the ocean where it fuels algae blooms, that deplete oxygen from coastal waters, causing massive fish kills.  RED TIDE Impacts the quality of beach experiences, water recreation and fishing activities in our oceans.

CLEAN DRINKING WATER FOR LIFE

  1. Global warming is producing more intensive storms that destroy communities and their drinking water systems. Donate to the CISTA 4 CLEAN WATER FUND to help provide water filters for these challenged communities.

RED TIDE THE CAUSE OF TONS OF DEAD FISH

  1. Red tide has already caused the deaths of hundreds of sea turtles, as well as large fish like Goliath grouper and even manatees. More than 5 tons of dead fish have been removed from beaches.
